Katy Perry Killer Queen Perfume
Celebrity perfumes have continued to impress me, whether I like it or not, and Katy Perry's Killer Queen is no exception.
The whole red and gold theme kind of reminds me of the Red Queen from Lewis Carroll's Through The Looking Glass. Which is fitting, considering Katy Perry's inspiration for the perfume was "the idea of a strong, confident woman in power". Hell yeah!
I think this perfume really invokes confidence and refinement. Even the bottle, which is kind of what I would describe as a gem-shaped dagger, is very regal looking. The heart of this perfume lies in the Red Velvet Flower, something that I didn't even know was a thing! But, as a lover of all things Red Velvet, I was pleasantly surprised that it actually exists.
Other notes include wild berry, dark plum, bergamot, Jasmine, plumeria, cashmeran, patchouli and liquid praline. The perfume itself is a little bit on the sweeter side, and you can definitely smell the praline and plumeria. This will probably delight those of you who prefer more feminine scents. For those of us who like spicier fragrances, the patchouli and bergamot really work together to spice things up. This is definitely one to spritz on when you wanna put on those heels and show them who's boss!
Katy Perry Killer Queen is available in stores now. But...if you'd like to win the perfume and some exclusive merchandise, I've got a giveaway coming up very soon!
