Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Polish

How cute are these new Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Polishes? I love the packaging and I really prefer it to their other bottles.

The new collection features 49 new shades, including 12 that were created by her royal hotness, Kate Moss. Each of Kate's picks comes complete with a music-inspired name. If you rushed out to grab the Kate Moss lipsticks, you'll definitely want the nail polishes, too. The shades just ooze the kind of rock and roll chic that has become synonymous with Kate.

The polishes contain a formulation of lycra and "color sculpt gel encapsulated microscopic tube particles" to make the polish flexible, easy to apply, ultra glossy and long-lasting. Rimmel calls it their 5-step manicure in one.

Application is super easy thanks to wider brushes (my personal favorite) and the formula is just the right thickness. It applies evenly and isn't too thin or watery. The polishes are really shiny, which I love, but it does take a little bit of time to dry them, so I recommend using a quick dry top coat.

As you will see, my nails are pretty short right now and I am still having issues with them peeling (more on that in a later post!) but even with those problems, I still managed to get about 5 days of wear before they started to chip.

Isn't She Precious took three coats and I was worried it would be streaky, but it evened out really well. I guess that is thanks to the lycra! Rock N Roll is a gorgeous, classic red that I will no doubt be wearing a lot this season. Hip-Hop is a stunning, slightly orange red and I've gotten tons of compliments on it.

Have you tried these polishes? What do you think about the Kate Moss Rimmel collaborations?
