Mikyajy Minx Blind Date Eyeshadow Quads
|Mikyajy Minx Blind Date Eyeshadow Quads|
To be absolutely honest, even though I am a HUUUGE fan of Mikyajy's eyeliners, I have never gotten around to using their eyeshadows. But I was sent these gorgeous quads and thought I'd give them a go!
Don't be fooled by the cutesy packaging, these babies pack a punch!
Each compact contains four coordinating eyeshadows to give you the easiest smokey eye ever! Each of the shadows is labeled so you know exactly where to put it and there are also instructions on the back. You get one highlight shade, a contour shade and two options so you can make your smokey eye as dark or as subtle as you want. You also get two matte shades and two shimmery ones so you can easily mix it up for your own twist.

I was sent two gorgeous compacts, Smoky Twist, full of beautiful grays, and Chocolate Cha-Cha, with gorgeous browns and a beautiful gold shade as well.
So how well do these actually work? I find that the shadows are incredibly buttery and easy to blend. They're also super pigmented and last forever. I didn't notice any creasing, but I wore a primer underneath (as I always do because I am very prone to creasing!)
Time for some swatches!
These quads already make getting ready a breeze, but if you want to make it even easier...
Check out Mikyajy's Smoky Eye Brush!

A Close-up of the Bristles
This brush is not only perfect for packing on color, it's also great for smudging liner. It's basically the only brush you need for a smokey eye.
I actually fell in love with these a couple of weeks ago. I was planning on heading out at 8 and suddenly got a call saying 'sorry, but we're changing everything to 7'. I was all 'SEVEN?? ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??!' But then a lightbulb turned on inside my head and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try out these goodies.
Lo and behold, it worked! I had TWO perfect smokey eyes in under 5 minutes and was actually ready to head out the door ON TIME. Awoohoohoo!
You can buy the shadows and brush at all Mikyajy stores. The quads are Dhs69 each and the brush is a super bargain, at only Dh45. Take that, MAC and your crazy prices!
