The Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette
Urban Decay's Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette
Urban Decay has basically taken the world by storm, despite being around for quite some time. It's been around since I was in high school, which was well, a while ago (yes, I am old...MOVING ON) We had it here for a while, then it was discontinued and I had to frantically beg everyone going to the states or UK to bring back some of my beloved primer potion.
We finally got Urban Decay back last year, which meant that I could finally get my hands on one of the Naked palettes. But which one?
Luckily, I didn't have to wonder for very long. I was given the Naked 2 by my super-awesome boss at the magazine and it's been a faithful companion of mine ever

Ah, the Naked Palettes. I mean, what can you really say about them that hasn't been said before?
Creamy, easy to apply shadow textures? Check.
A variety of shades to take you from day to night in one little box? Check.
Tons of shades that look good on pretty much everyone? Check.
A really cool name that will no doubt be copied and played on for years to come? Check.
One of the things I love most about this is that there are so many different shades and so many different textures. I'm constantly discovering new ways to use the shadows. Just last week, I discovered that Tease is an absolutely wonderful crease color.
Would you like to see some of my swatches? (for reference, I wear MAC NC42 to NC44, depending on the season!)
Top row: Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall, Chopper. Middle row: Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol. Bottom row: Verve, Yok, Busted, Blackout
These are all pretty neutral shades, but they do have different undertones. So they might lean a little more warm/cool on you, depending on your skin tone. The palette also comes with a really awesome, double ended brush. So, unless you're going for Nicki Minaj style brights, the palette is basically all you need! I've actually taken this on shoots and it's been a lifesaver!
Well, that's my experience with this palette! Let me know what you guys think of it, and if you've got a review I'd love it if you could post links in the comments section!:)
Urban Decay is available at Sephora in Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates.
