Fabulous Fashion Fridays: Vintage and not-so-vintage Paco Rabanne

Hey everyone!

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. I've been a tiny bit busy :)

A while ago, I went to a press event for Paco Rabanne's newest perfume, Lady Million Absolutely Gold. I'm going to put the perfume in it's own review, but the short story is that I L-O-V-E it. Ladies (and gentlemen) if you're looking for a super sexy scent that isn't overtly in-your-face, you will definitely want to check this one out. I literally feel like a rock star when I wear it!

As I've come to understand more about the brand, Paco Rabanne is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Not just in terms of fragrance, but also in fashion. I love how everything about them is very "understatedly" rock and roll, it's not something a crazy metal head would wear, it's much more refined. The clothes belong on the kind of woman that you simultaneously in awe of and scared crapless by. They've also managed to stay true to their roots, everything they create has a bit (and sometimes) a lot of edge to it, and this even applies to their fragrances.

This was the second press event that I've been to for Paco Rabanne and I love how the team sets everything up. The press event was set up in the palm suite at the One and Only on the palm. It is kind of far out there, but it's such a gorgeous hotel!

The whole suite, down to every last detail, was arranged in fabulous Paco Rabanne style and we even got to have a look at some absolutely stunning vintage pieces that I just had to share with you guys! But enough talking, let's get to the pictures!! (Sorry for the quality, I took all of these with my phone)

The first dress we saw. It drew the inevitable 'ooohs and aahh' as well as one 'Is my purse big enough to stuff this in??'

A close up. So pretty! Le sigh.

Hi, may I please have this bag - and ALL the Paco Rabanne bags??

 Another stunning Paco Rabanne dress

A tub full of Lady Million and 1 Million (the new fragrance for men - believe me, you will want your man to smell like this!)

I was so in love with the dress on the left! It's from the fall 2012 collection.

A Lady Million fountain! It's kind of hard to see, but there was a tiny stream of perfume running through the middle of these pillars! Gorgeous!

There were gorgeous boxes like these filled with each of the components of the perfume

I hope you guys liked this post as much as I liked writing it :) And let me know, would you like to see more event posts? I'm not always sure about what people like to see/read about, so let me know in the comments!! Lots of Xs and Os, Aseya
