Guest Post: Katrina's Bikini Body Tips

Today I have a guest post for you guys! Katrina is what I would call a "super stylist". She always looks absolutely impeccable (I highly recommend reading her blog if you are stuck in a style rut). Apart from that, she's also a bit of a product junkie (a girl after my own heart!) I asked her for some body care tips and she offered to write a post for all of us! She's actually used everything that she mentions in the post, and if she says it works, I 100% believe her!
My top 10... for a great bikini body.



My name is Katrina and I am a London-based personal stylist. I love fashion, beauty and
anything that keeps me fit, young and healthy.

Girls, do you have a pool party or beach holiday to go to? You could easily achieve a great
bikini body within a month! It comes with some determination of course... I’ve tried all of
these myself and they worked. I hope you will find these tips useful and fun to follow!

1. Exercise: Try every other day or at least 3 times a week fitness routines like those in Mel
B's DVD (available at
B001GPTCFC). The more you do it the better your figure will become.

 2. Water: Drink at least 1.5 to 2 litres of water a day. You will slim down and look radiant

3. Food: Fish, spinach, berries... You need low-fat but high-energy food!

4. Stretch marks: As you lose weight your skin will show more stretch marks. Consider
body oils... If you apply oils like bio-oil morning, noon and night your skin will look

5. Exfoliate: A good tan needs a good 'canvas'. See this:

6. Moisturize: Skin needs to be hydrated and moisturized. Choose the best body oils you
can afford! Consider Argan oil. Sometimes I use a range from the BodyShop.

7. Epilate: Brawn Silk Epil is one of the best - I’ve been using it and am very happy with the result.
To begin with it’s quite painful, but after 2 or 3 uses, you will not feel a thing! I find it
better than shaving as a razor usually removes a layer of skin... Also, you can use it as
often as you need and the effect is great.

8. Body brushing: Repeat this morning, noon and night (round the clock brushing) to
improve your circulation and reduce the appearance of cellulite. See this:

9. Endermology is the perfect treatment... If you want to speed up the results check this

10. Choose a bikini, sarong and accessories. A bikini has to be just right for your body
shape. With the perfect one you could make your legs longer, your figure curvier and your
bust bigger/smaller. Well chosen accessories, sarong, beach bag, shades and sun hat will
make you look as stylish as an A-lister.


Fitflops are great for exercise on the go and ideal for toning your bum.

It is also important for bikini shopping to select the right shade for your skin tone. A
