First Impressions: Sleek MAKEup's Nude Collection

Last month, Sleek MAKEup released a new collection called The Nude Collection. It's basically all about the "new nude", and it contains different colors and textures to make things a lot more modern.

Swatches of the bottom row: Conker, Moss, Bark, Mineral Earth, Regal, Noir (is it just me, or do these look really "Chanel-y"?)

Sleek Makeup has managed to release yet another must have collection. The Nude collection was released last month and it is all about the 'new nude'. They've used some great neutral tones that will look great on everyone and have also given us different textures to make everything much more modern.

I'd have to say that the Pout Polish is the least impressive. When I tried this it just looked like I was wearing shiny, clear gloss. It still has the same lovely ingredients as all Pout Polishes, as well SPF 15. So if you're just looking for a basic lip balm/gloss, this would be a good (yummy) option.

Now, I've heard mixed results about Suede blush. Some people love it, some people were really 'meh' about it. I personally love it! I wore it other night and it was perfect with a bright pink lip. It gave my face warmth and a real glow, despite being a matte shade. This is a wonderful blush to wear when you have no idea what blush would match the rest of your makeup!

The Au Naturel has  the standard mix of matte and shimmer shades. I've read complaints about the chalkiness of the matte shadows, and this is the first Sleek Makeup palette that I've tried and thought it was a little chalky. They also need a little bit of building up, but that could also make them great sheer colors for work. I think Honeycomb and Toast are going to be my favorite lid shades.

The dark colors are just stunning! Each one will help you create a gorgeous, effortless smokey eye, and the colors will keep things pretty modern. They also apply really well and blend really easily, so wearing them will be a blast. When I swatched them, I was immediately reminded of some of the Chanel shadows I've seen. They have that same almost duo-tone shimmer to them (at a fraction of the price!)

Unfortunately, Sleek Makeup is not available in the UAE just yet. However, you can purchase the entire collection from And great news, this is a permanent collection! Which is so great because it would make the perfect gift for birthdays or Christmas.
