First Impressions: MAC Clarity

Mac Mineralize Eyeshadow - Clarity. 112 dirhams from MAC

Clarity swatched wet and dry

Clarity was released as part of MAC's Semiprecious collection (which we got extremely late!) I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did, but once I tried it I just had to have it!! I initially wanted the uber popular Smoked Ruby, but that just looks dull and murky on me.

Clarity, however, just blew me away. It doesn't look that amazing in the pot, but when you swatch it! I mean, look at those sparkles! I would love to apply it dry as a sheer wash of sparkle and team it with a bold red lip for a pretty evening look. It would also look gorgoeous applied wet and built up for a deep, smokey look.

I'm gonna try to wear it this week and take pictures for you guys. I think that this is going to be a very versatile favorite!

Do you have this shadow? How do/would you wear this one?

  4. I kinda don't either. There are only one or two that I get really excited about. But this was too cute to pass up! Funnily enough, I never noticed this one, I think that was because of all the fuss over Smoked Ruby.

  12. Hi there, again :)
I think Clarity is amazing, and you'll get a wonderful idea on how to use it if you watch Siobhán's (LetzMakeup) latest video on youtube "Grey Smokes & Bold brows" - it's breathtaking.
    Let me know!

It looks gorgeous!!! I really need to get into the MAC collections a bit more. I just can't stand paying the full price we have to pay here in Oz.

You know I haven't been paying a lot of attention to MACs collections either, mainly because there are so many of them! And stuff is expensive here, too this eyeshadow was $30US! Insane, but I loved it heheh
