Some Of My DIY Jewelry - 1

I like to make little pieces of jewelry in my spare time. My mom is super creative and when we were younger, she really encouraged us to make our own stuff. I'm glad she did, because it's something that I've been able to carry with me.

Here are some of the things I've made. I'm gonna break these up into parts because I don't wanna overload the post with pictures!

This one is so heavy! The flower is from a necklace I had. I didn't like the chain it was on, so I attached to these beads. It's very pretty to wear with a dress.

Most of my beaded bracelets are strung onto elastic thread. I double up on the thread because I worry about it tearing. The small round beads are plastic, the big red ones are coral and the others are semi-precious stones (I think, but can't remember the name!)

I just looove black stones! These are all pretty heavy too, I think these are onyx (I really need to learn these things!) They're great for layering with gold or silver bangles.

I made these for my mom, my sisters and some of my friends for Christmas. My sister likes hers so much that she wears it year round!

This is one of my favorites to wear with white. It's just the right length. I think these are turquoise, but again I'm not sure! I know they are some sort of semi-precious stone, though!

Well, that's the first part! I also made these Anthropologie Inspired Lace Earrings, and I still have some earrings and some more necklaces to show you guys. I have lots of Chan Luu inspired beaded bracelets. Would you guys be interested in a tutorial? They're sooo easy to make! :)

Do any of you like to make jewelry?

Very talented! These pieces are so so cute!! I used to make jewellery when I was younger. I once had  a tackle box full of beads haha but I was never very good at it so gave it up.

But you clearly have a lot of talent :)

  22. I've tried making jewelry, but then I never wear it, which obviously means that it's not very good... I love yours though! Especially the very first necklace, it looks so professionally done! I'd totally wear it!
