MHK Challenge - Weigh in 1

So. Yesterday was supposed to be my first weigh in but, in true Dubai style, I'm late.

In my first week on the MHK Challenge, I lost......0 pounds.

I kind of let myself down last week. The weekend made me lose a couple of days and then I just sort of let myself feel sorry for myself.

I managed to drink lots more water, but I did have the odd diet soda.

I had green smoothies about 4 out of the 7 days last week, so that's not too bad.

I did manage to use my body brush regularly, so that's good!

And I did run...twice. And it was HARD. It's still so hot over here! I haven't been able to drag myself out of bed early enough during the morning and the park is pretty busy at night so i try and avoid it after dusk.

All in all, I think I will give myself a 3 out of 10 for last week. I don't think I did that well, and I kind of put minimal effort in. I'm aiming for an 8/9 star rating this week!

  1. The first weeks are either amazing & you do great but the following weeks you flop, or you ease youself in on the first week & get better & better. You've achieved a lot, you introduced things into this week that you had planned to, maybe you didn't stick to them as well as you'd hoped but it's the first week & you're just getting the hang of it then.
    Have you taken measurements? You never know you could have lost inches/cms but kept the same weight. xx

  2. I hope you're right! I have no one to blame but myself, anyway, but it was a giant kick in the pants! You don't realize how fast time goes by. It's always 'oh, I'll fix it in the morning'. Well, we don't have that many mornings left! I have taken measurements, I'll take some new ones on Sunday :)
